Stunning wedding location
View this wide braided river that was formed many millennia ago by mighty rivers of ice and still carries the waters what remains of these glaciers today. Our path over the narrow Rakaia Gorge will take us over the Mount Hutt ski area we’ll head into the eastern beginnings of the Southern Alps where some of New Zealand’s best heli-skiing terrain lies. We’ll also have the opportunity to view some of the country’s great high country station areas with the possibility of seeing the elusive Himalayan Thar which reside in these areas.
