‘Chapel by the Lake’ offers a truly stunning wedding venue, overlooking the magnificent Lake Hayes and mountains of Central Otago, New Zealand.

An authentic stone Chapel set amidst 5 hectares of beautiful gardens and vineyard, including ponds, waterfalls, historic drays and the stone ruins of Mayne’s Hotel, dating back to 1857.

Breathtaking views from both inside the Chapel and surrounding grounds make for a multitude of superb photographic opportunities.

You have a choice of accommodation either Honeymoon – in the Stoneridge Cottage which is the perfect location for your romantic escape. Relax in the privacy and comfort of this quaint, self-contained cottage built in the traditional miners’ cottage-style with views that will take your breath away. Or stay at the Stoneridge lodge which is beautifully appointed with stunning furnishings and views. Neither will disappoint.

• NZ Legal Marriage License and processing of application
• NZ Marriage Certificate application and processing
• Apostle Stamp application and processing (this stamp is recognized all over the world as a legal wedding – takes approx 30 days from the date of your wedding and once I receive I will forward by registered mail to your home address
• Personal assistance when you arrive into Christchurch to uplift your Marriage License
• Complementary glass of NZ bubbly or Sparkling NZ Grape Juice (please advise on booking bubbly or grape juice. Thank you)
• Organist
• Photography package

  • No photos developed
  • High-resolution jpegs on disk of all photos in a mixture of colour and black & white.
  • Available 48 hours after wedding
  • 10 images will be available on NZ Dream Weddings facebook page within 48 hrs.

(This package includes all legal paperwork including the stamp certificate that you need to change your name in your country, pick up of licence can be either in Queenstown or Christchurch).

• Brides Bouquet – medium size hand held posy (upon booking can you please advise choice of flower colours. We recommend that roses be used as these can be obtained all year round. Or send through a image from the internet and I will check that flowers will be available at the time of your wedding). NZ$200
• Hair and Makeup styling for bride NZ$330
• Bridal cars with ribbons and chauffeur (there is a large range of vehicles pricing starts at NZ$450 for the 4hrs in total, this covers pick up from hotel and return after wedding)
