This wedding location is truly magical. Enjoy the thrill of a helicopter flight, enjoy breathtaking views of the Canterbury high country. Our diverse scenery includes views of small local lakes, before following the magnificent Midland Railway Line as it winds its way to Broken River. From here follow Broken River as it meanders its way up towards Flock Hill, home to one of the major filming locations for Narnia, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Here you will see the Witches Mound, Chariots Run, Aslan’s Rock and the Battlefield.

Experience this bird’s eye view that providedthe backdrop to the famous movie scene known as The flight of the Phoenix.

For couples wanting that unusal non-traditional wedding then this is the place.  We will land for your ceremony with 360 degree views.

This package is priced for couple without guests and includes GST

Basic Package NZ$3300

  • Coordination
  • Helicopter fee
  • Minister or Celebrant
  • 2 witnesses as required by NZ law
  • NZ Legal Marriage License and processing of application
  • NZ Marriage Certificate application and processing
  • Apostle Stamp application and processing (this stamp is recognized all over the world as a legal wedding – takes approx 30 days from the date of your wedding and once I receive I will forward by registered mail to your home address
  • Personal assistance when you arrive into Christchurch to uplift your Marriage License
  • Complementary glass of NZ bubbly or Sparkling NZ Grape Juice

Additional options

  • Brides Bouquet – medium size hand held posy (upon booking can you please advice choice of colour flowers. We recommend that roses be used as these can be obtained allyear round. Or send through a image from the internet and I will check that flowers willbe available at the time of your wedding). NZ$200
  • Hair and Makeup styling – $120 per service
  • Bridal cars with ribbons and chauffeur in Limo or Rolls Royce – to take you from your accommodation in Christchurch to the Heli-base and return. (pricing based on 2hrs. Please confirm upon booking your choice of vehicle… Limo or Rolls Royce. Thank you) NZ$495

  • Flowers for brides hair – starting price is NZ$5 each flower

  • DVD NZ$1,300 – includes… coverage of your wedding is digitally edited on broadcastquality equipment and comes complete with professional titles, music and presentationcase. Up to 1 hour filming at service location from your arrival to your departure. Lapel mics for both celebrant/minister and groom to ensure quality audio. Highlights of service uploaded to New Zealand Dream Weddings facebook within 48hrs for family and friends to view. DVD copy of your wedding in presentation case delivered within 48 hours after the service (please refer to option sheet for extras available for DVD.)
