Aoraki Mt Cook!! New Zealand Dream Weddings offers the perfect wedding experience.  Where in the world can you find glaciers that cover over 40% of the National Park. With all mountains over 3000 metres tall.  All this located in the central part of the South Island, deep in the heart of the Southern Alps.

Specializing in arranging weddings in New Zealand for couples from all around the world that are only wanting a very small intimate wedding with no guests or just a few guests in attendance. All of the venues and locations they offer including this one have been especially chosen because of their particular suitability for small, intimate weddings.

Begin your journey into marriage with the experience one of the world’s most magnificent alpine environments. Fly to the heart of the Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, viewing spectacular hanging glaciers and rivers of moving ice.

Prepare yourself for an amazing landing on one of the many glaciers where you will be able to step out of the helicopter onto snow.

With picturesque views of Mt Cook and Glaciers the view above and below this makes a wonderful backdrop for your wedding ceremony.

On your way home enjoy the marvel at the mountains soaring around you. Then descend beside the beautiful turquoise hues of the glacially fed Lake Pukaki to complete a flight we promise you will never forget.

The climate within Aoraki Mount Cook National Park is very typical of a mountainous area. The temperature will range from -10 to over 30 in the summer.

The Northerly winds in October and November can prevent the Helicopters from flying, our team will do our utmost to get you married on a glacier.

If cloud or wind prevents us from landing on the Richardson Glacier we will land at another Glacier or Mountain.

Should the aircraft not be able to fly at all due to bad weather a full refund for the cost of the flight will be refunded and we will have you married on the land in the National Park, still with views that you will not experience anywhere else in the world.

Please note this type of wedding is weather dependent.

Traveling to Mt Cook… I always recommend hiring a camper-van or a rental car this way you can travel at your own leisure.  We do offer the option of a chauffeur driven car.  The driving distance from Christchurch to Mt Cook is approximately 4.5hours.  It is advisable to travel to Mt Cook at least the day before your wedding.

• Apostle Stamp or Authentication Certificate application and processing (this stamp is recognized all over the world as a legal wedding) – takes approx. 30 days from the date of your wedding and once I receive I will forward by registered mail to your home address
• Personal assistance when you arrive into Christchurch to uplift your Marriage License
• 2 nights accommodation at the Hermitage Hotel in a premium plus room with views
• Buffet Breakfast in the Alpine Restaurant both mornings
• Romantic 4 course Dinner for two at the award winning Panorama Restaurant at the Hermitage Hotel

Up to 1 hour filming at service location from your arrival to your departure. Lapel mics for celebrant and groom to ensure quality audio. Highlights of service uploaded to New Zealand Dream Weddings Facebook within 48hrs for family and friends to view.  DVD copy of your wedding in presentation case delivered within 48hrs after the service (please refer to option sheet for extras available for DVD.
