Lupin Wedding

 

Wow!!! Can you imagine being married in this spot? I fell in love with this location a couple of years ago.

Situated between Lake Tekapo and Lake Alexandrina with an elevated view of the turquoise lake and mountain backdrop.

Russell Lupins are colourful wildflowers, which blossom along the shores of Lake Tekapo in Canterbury on the South Island of NZ during the summer months. The landscape comes alive in pink and purple hues while the unique colour of the lake sparkles in the lighting as a blanket of clouds lingers over the mountaintops.

Truly a remarkable landscape to say those special vows to each other.

I would recommend that you travel down to Lake Tekapo the day before your wedding.  The driving distance from Christchurch is approximately 3hrs.

Please note that this location is weather dependent.  If weather is not suitable for your outdoor wedding then wedding will be transferred into a location that will still give you views of the Lake.

The basic package for this wedding includes everything you need for your wedding, including documentation for back home.

These prices are for bride and groom without guests.

Due to Lupins being seasonal flowers, this wedding packages is only available December and January.

• 2 witnesses as required by NZ law (free if needed)
• NZ Legal Marriage License and processing of application
• NZ Marriage Certificate application and processing
• Apostle Stamp or Authentication Certificate application and processing (this stamp is recognized all over the world as a legal wedding) – takes approx. 30 days from the date of your wedding and once I receive I will forward by registered mail to your home address
• 2 nights accommodation at the Peppers Bluewater Resort in a studio lake room with views
• Personal assistance when you arrive into Christchurch to uplift your Marriage License
• Complementary glass of NZ bubbly or Sparkling NZ Grape Juice

(If you wish to extend photography for another hour – cost would be NZ$300 – would recommend this extra hour for this wonderful venue)

• Brides Bouquet – medium size hand held posy (upon booking can you please advice choice of colour flowers. We recommend that roses be used as these can be obtained all year round.  Or send through an image from the Internet and I will check that flowers will be available at the time of your wedding).
