You will depart from the Christchurch flight centre and fly across the picturesque Garden City, enjoying panoramic views of the Canterbury Plains and the Port Hills. Crossing over the ancient volcanic crater that is now Lyttelton Harbour, you will proceed over to Bank Peninsula.
You will then fly the scenic route around the outside of the Peninsula, viewing rugged rocky cliffs and the Pacific Ocean, wide beaches, culminating in a landing and you will have your wedding ceremony on an isolated beach.
Although you are only 15 minutes from the city of Christchurch via air, the feeling is one of being far from the crowds. This location is definitely a must for couples loving the sea but wanting the privacy so many beaches cannot offer.
(Please do note that due to flying this location is weather dependant, if we are unable to fly then we will transfer your wedding ceremony to another venue – you will be given options of backup locations. If you are in Christchurch for a few days then we can wait and see what the next day will be like weather wise.)
