St. John of God is truly one of New Zealand's most Remarkable Christian buildings.
Built in 1912 the principal characteristic is that of 14th Century with 46 large stained panelled windows as one of the principal features. The building is shaped in the sign of the Crucifix, with the interior of exposed wood and marble. Walking down the 20-metre isle in this magnificent Church is simply magical.
